Dennis put up 27 pts but I was not impressed by him. Just some questionable decision making and settling for 3's. Clemson is not good and Baylor should have won by double digits with how little Hall played.

9-21 from the field, 2-10 from 3.

Duquesne put up 26 at half. The Cats couldn't even crack 20. They actually scored less at half than Uconn's first round opponent Stetson did. 😬
Illinois scored 50, UConn only 40. That's not the "#1 in adjusted efficiency" level scoring they'll need to hang with the Illini next Saturday.

We can keep up with Ucon’s speed but it will be difficult to handle Klingan. They will be tough to beat.

Questionable decisions by Dennis for sure. Baylor shot bad and missed a lot of free throws. But it is what it is.

Boo Buie 0-6, Brooks Barnhizer 0-8 at halftime... they should try to shoot better if they want to win

ya, we don't beat Uconn. Our ceiling is beating ISU on Thursday. This Uconn team will HANDLE Purdue if they play. It'll be fun to see Edey try to do his thing against Clingan.
Making a lot of assumptions. One game at a time.

I know I am drinking the Kool-Aid but I can't help feeling like we match up well with them. Terrance/Marcus/Ty can guard Newton/Spencer/Castle. Guerrier can guard Karaban.

The center position is just the big wildcard... Hawkins would need to be hitting 3s. I fear they would put Klingan on Ty and then who knows how effective he will be.

If Illinois does play UConn, thank goodness it’s one game. If this tournament was best of 7, I don’t think UConn gets forced to Game 7 in any matchup.

Bama/GCU is a sloppy track meet, camera crew is getting a workout trying to keep up.

What have I learned since Saturday and today?
1. Mountain West stinks and mid majors this year Stink.
2. Our win is probably not as impressive as we thought, Fun yes!.
3. Seems every Team scoring 85-100pts that's worth a Darn.
4. Pac12 a ton better than we thought and ACC.
5. Nate Oats of Alabama is a tool in almost the same breath as Bruce Pearl.
6. Purdue, Marquette, UNC, Zona, and Uconn are as good as we have thought all season.
P.S. our Illini!
7. TV coverage: background noise making the announcers un Audible. Is Un Bearable!!!!!! 💯
8. Next week will be Awesome!!!! Illini 💪.

Feels like the first time I got to a high level in the game of Tetris. Moving, spinning, whirling and shooting, all while praying for Devine guidance

Yup. Anything can happen in a single given game.

If we beat ISU and get to play UConn, we're playing with house money. Everyone will expect them to win so the pressure will be on them.
