When Vito made that three, they had the game won. They didn't finish. Couple of really bad turnovers.

How did they get hosed? Notre Dame took it from them.

Pretty questionable calls on Wisconsin and pretty silent whistles on ND. I don't care one way or the other but, very questionable officiating in my opinion.

Besides, I don't know why we should feel sorry for Wisconsin. They're not feeling sorry for us.

Jackson got away with a couple of fouls at the end, but he would've gotten away with them with most sets of refs.

They didnt have a problem calling a foul on Happ! He did foul, but Auguste clearly fouled Hayes.

How much money could you have made after Wisconsin lost to Western Illinois and you bet anyone Wisconsin makes it to Sweet16?

Instant, newest, training video for our PG next year, TJL, DJack's play of the last 30 seconds of the ND-Wisky game tonight. With one caveat: do it for 40 minutes!!!

Hayes and Koenig turnovers killed them!

IMO Hayes was fouled three times on his turnover, Twice when he had the ball & once when it was on the floor. I'm not a Wisconsin fan but my guess is the refs attend mass. If that had been our beloved playing (we wish), our board would be lit up.

Or maybe just make up calls from the Xavier game.

What goes around comes around. Remember when they shot 30 FT's at their place against us a few weeks ago?

I didn't think he was fouled. He tried to dribble through a triple team. Should have called a to or found an open man.

Illinois baseball wins BIG opener 5-0!

Congrats to the baseballers. They now have me in the mindset of expecting an NCAA world series birth. Just like the golf team and women's volley ball team and the wrestling team and gymnastics team, uh, am I leaving any team out? Do it!

Let's just say Mike Brey not so happy with Big Ten officials here.

B1G officials including TV Ted. Sure there was plenty of displeasure to go around
Personally, it looked like Hayes flopped to me.

Did Wisconsin leave two timeouts on the board?

I remember people being mad at Groce for not calling a timeout against Penn St. Most, if not all, games that came down to the last shot this tournament there was no timeout called. I'm not sure if statistics say that is the way to go, but for some reason it's a trend right now in college basketball.

Yep, Happ foul never would have occurred, and Wisc would have remained up 2, had Auguste been called for shoving Hayes and sending him flying 5 feet away from the ball. Or maybe it was just that the refs think Hayes is just a big softy, since they failed to call that foul on Jackson when he slammed into Hayes and sent him flying backwards, allowing Jackson to grab the ball and pivot to the hoop uncontested.

Basketball's just too d**n arbitrary.

Always sad when refs decide games like that. Big ten teams always seem to get hosed in the tourney.
