I didn't watch the game....how did Texas lose that lead?
Miami just kept doing their thing, made some shots and Texas never really got control of the tempo and feel of the game in a way that could put it to bed, just like against us.

I didn't understand why the block out wasn't a foul on Miami - went over the back and into the air so when Tx kept backing up it was into an empty space - that call was the game. (given that Tx had blown their lead and it was tied). can someone explain the rule of when you are allowed to block out and when you aren't.

You can't block out and back completely under another player.

that part is obvious, but the jumping into the back is the first foul and the continuing to back up happens second, and thus not a foul

FAU vs SDSU
Miami vs UConn

The most random FF ever

Texas... Miami... So many careers hanging in the balance of what happens in the last 30 seconds of a basketball game. Destinies changed and future time-lines altered. Forever.

San Diego... Florida... and Florida again. The South is Rising. Will we get an All-South Florida Finals? Maybe even Trent is smiling over that prospect.

Final Four. Owls. Huskies. Aztecs. Hurricanes. Only one place to place this thing now. Build a court in the hinterlands outside Mexico City and hope that bad weather doesn’t come in and scare the Critters away.

The locked trophy case that used to be the sole property of a handful of Blue Bloods has been cracked wide open. Lots of new guys get a chance for that big shiny thing.

And new destinies ahead will again be written.

No top 3 seeds in the Final Four. That's a Madness first.
Love it. Chalk me up for one who will be happy never to see Gonzaga in the S16 again. I don't care how tough their pre/non-conference schedule is, they have 16-18 cupcake conference games per year (depending upon how good St Mary's is). After our UCLA & Texas "wins" (quotations because those wins were only because we had one player on a heater and caught good teams early in their season), we all know how well that did for us when it came to March Madness.

They retimed it due to the late start of the game clock initially.
Kenny Smith made a real good observation. Handheld stopwatches can be extremely inaccurate wnen it comes to tenths of a second. You can have 3 different people timing a runner in a sprint and come up with 3 different times.
