Last night Colorado went 17 for 19 on free throws, raising their season FT% to 83.4%.

This is notable, because the NCAA record for team season FT% is 1984 Harvard, who shot 82.2% on the season.

Colorado has finished their regular season now, having only the Pac-12 tournament and NCAA tournament to keep that number high enough to set the record.

They can enjoy it - it'll be the only one they're getting this year.
That’s right. Because we’re not only going to beat them in the BTT but we’re taking them down this time in the Final Four. We’re going to keep stealing their candy from here on out.

We would've done the same. I don't begrudge them celebrating what the conference is giving them. I begrudge the conference for creating this ridiculous imbalance in games played.
I don't think we would have. That celebration was way over the top. I don't think I've ever seen a team celebrate a conference championship like that. There may have been some and I just don't remember.

Doubtful we would have done the same thing considering the B1G took us on the road for our final 3 games....

Would like to see the Illini get revenge on Maryland. Would not be crazy about having to play Indiana in Indianapolis
That’s the way I see it. But it still could get very complicated for the 6-8 seed as Maryland could win, Rutgers could win and Wisky could lose which would put all three at 10-10 but Wisky has the tie breaker over both Rutgers and MD and between just Rutgers and Wisky. But if it is between MD and and Wisky, do they do common opponents because they split during the regular season? If my calculations are right, MD could slide into the 6 spot while Wisky falls to 7 and Rutgers 8. The only way Rut can move to 7 is for MD to lose Sunday to Penn State and rut wins their game at Minny. I have no issues playing Indy in Indy. We beat them on their floor and they are drowning right now. I it falls to Wisky.Indy for the 7/10 game, as like Indy, Wisky is treading water. Maryland against Iowa in the Friday matchup would be interesting to see. Regardless, it is going to be a fun weekend of basketball.

Well not much to play for for a while now. Can't improve our BTT seed, can't win the conference. Not being able to win the conference feels especially deflating.

I didn’t see the celebration, but given they were at home against their in-state rival, they had just gotten trounced the game before, they weren’t highly ranked going into season, and this has been a weird and pressure-filled season what with all the Covid restrictions, I don’t fault them celebrating a bit too excessively. I’m sure there are people who find the Illini’s locker room celebrations excessive too. But that is what makes college sports so great — the passion, the emotion and the celebrations.

It was over the top I don't care what the circumstances were especially when you didn't even play the full complement of games in the conference. I haven't seen any other team THIS year celebrate like that by winning a conference.

I didn't have an issue with it. I came across some Michigan fans being annoyed with how rambunctious the Illini bench was during the blowout. I imagine they wouldn't be fond of the locker room celebration either.

As BU says, winning is hard in this league. It's good to celebrate it.

Well there goes that award for our team.
