I had thought the B1G refs were bad, these refs in the Bama-LSU are baaaad. bad blocking call, followed by a blatantly missed traveling call and then called a touch foul which allowed Bama to tie the game with two free throws. Yikes!

IU playing Purdue tough in the first 8 minutes...tied at 14. Doesn't matter for our B1G title hopes, but could theoretically be the difference between sharing it with one or two or winning sole possession of 2nd place.

Edit: Obviously Purdue can't share the B1G title anymore...where's my head at?! I think the only scenario this game matters to the Illini is if Purdue wins and the Illini lose tomorrow. Then we get the 3 seed in the BTT, right? Any other scenario has us at 1 or 2?

And just like that, Purdue explodes for a 15-2 run (or something close). They can score in a flurry.

Even in the Knight/Keady era, Purdue holds a 21-20 edge, which really stuck in Bobby’s craw for a long time. Purdue also has the most B1G banners (24) of any team. Hoosier fans, in full arrogance mode, like to come back with, yeah but Purdue has never brought home an NCAA title.

Rooting for Kansas, OKS, and UNI today. Rooting for Nebraska, tOSU, Rutgers, MSU, Northwestern, Memphis, and ofc Illini tomorrow.
