The White Sox fan complex...I would honestly rather have Michigan miss the NCAAT than Illinois get to the Sweet Sixteen. That's how much I dislike them.

More like The Outer Limitsback on again .............for how long is the question..........................View attachment 23957
The PA announcer said he was a sophomore. Maybe it’s due to a redshirt or Covid I don’t know but that’s what they said. Listen tommorow since they won. He is a good playerI just looked that up. He played 1 year at Marquette and 1 year at North Carolina and he’s only a sophomore? Must be that NC education.
If this is truly the reason then it completely diminishes the little cred that was left to the NCAA.100% agree. Their year has just been so down besides as of late. I feel like they are going to make the tournament based on their name and the fact they are actually a good team that underachieved and not on body of work like others.
Then I could see them making another little run if they do make it. They have the talent.
Wasn’t disagreeing with you. I heard the same thing and he has played 2 full years going into this year. Covid should not have been in play. The PA announcer said he was a sophomore. It’s becoming so blatantly obvious that I’m starting to wonder if the Big Ten isn’t directing the refs to “help” some teams to increase the number of teams in the tournament.Seriously … I usually detest classism, but a multi-million dollar industry has to let a bunch of semi-retired accountants make awful call after awful call and never demand changes because, what? “Respect the officials”? This is well beyond them trying their best in a difficult situation; we have plenty of evidence of some of these guys being at best incompetent and at worst making it about themselves to the detriment of the spirit of Big Ten competition.
Then they would have instructed the officials to help Wisconsin last night because their loss basically knocked them out of the tournament. It’s becoming so blatantly obvious that I’m starting to wonder if the Big Ten isn’t directing the refs to “help” some teams to increase the number of teams in the tournament.
They can only do so much. If a team refuses to cooperate.....well......Then they would have instructed the officials to help Wisconsin last night because their loss basically knocked them out of the tournament.
duh.................not directing this at you , just how so obvious they are in doing it........It’s becoming so blatantly obvious that I’m starting to wonder if the Big Ten isn’t directing the refs to “help” some teams to increase the number of teams in the tournament.
Man, you must really hate semi-retired accountants to compare them to the zebra-striped clowns!Seriously … I usually detest classism, but a multi-million dollar industry has to let a bunch of semi-retired accountants make awful call after awful call and never demand changes because, what? “Respect the officials”? No way Big Ten let’s Michigan lose this game. Book it.Welp, it’s happening again this year. I have fallen victim to a chronic disease in which my work productivity takes a huge hit for about a month while basketball makes its final stand before the fall season begins. Man, I LOVE this time of year!
Now, to root for a Michigan loss to Rutgers!
No.It’s becoming so blatantly obvious that I’m starting to wonder if the Big Ten isn’t directing the refs to “help” some teams to increase the number of teams in the tournament.
Yikes, this is totally whack. Once Hunter Dickinson is gone, I'll probably go back to not caring much about Michigan. The deeper into the Howard era, the less of a threat they become in the Big Ten. Once the results aren't there, the recruits will dry up. Dude was carried on the back of the program Beilein built to propel him to great recruits, now 3 out of 4 seasons have been really unimpressive.I would honestly rather have Michigan miss the NCAAT than Illinois get to the Sweet Sixteen. That's how much I dislike them.
They wont fire Howard anytime soon. Not a worry.i was actually hoping for a UM win. we need them to do just well enough to not fire JH. On top of being 0-fer against ILL in his tenure, his "Chicago connection" hasn't really materialized. It's good for us if JH is the HC at UM
