Agreed. I have to say, I think Michigan would destroy Miss St. (I've watched a few of their games and they're atrocious), but I'd much rather they be in than Michigan! And, IMHO, their chance does not exist.

Tightness can make a difference. Looking at the bounces thus far in the tourney, it does seem the rims are bolted on a bit firmer compared to a lot of the B10 venues I've seen. Makes for unforgiving bounces if you don't hit it pure.in theory , or in truth , all rims are made of the same metal and must be checked to be within 1/8” of inch for diameter , correct
I know the shooting backdrops are all different , but the actual backboards and rims are all EXACTLY THE SAME, correct ?
Well the fact that they lost last night to Montana State in the Championship Game (game tipped at 10:30 pm CT) certainly doesn't bode well for their chances.MSN

The NAU Lumberjacks of Flagstaff are one win away from making the tourney
Juwon Howard UM recordLet’s see how the committee finds a way to sneak Michigan in this time
I've always wondered why adjusting the rims was not part of pre-game planning. Playing a team that shoots lots of 3s compared to you? Tighten the rim. Playing a team that mostly goes inside (compared to you)? Loosen the rim. Adjust your own game plan with that knowledge.Tightness can make a difference. I think there's a decent argument that Murray knocked the ball away and the Ohio State player fouled Murray by falling on him before Murray stepped out. That's what I would be up in arms about if I were an Iowa fan, anyway. These refs are so bad they missed Murry actually out of bounds and then when he threw it in they said he kicked it....
Yeah bad losses but they’re comfortably in at this point.Still think Iowa is in but 2 rough losses to end it at home vs Nebby and then to OSU.
Was thinking exactly the same thing. The idea of Holtmann being on the hot seat should shut right down if OSU supporters know what's good for them.OSU's end to their regular season and BTT tourney run reminds me more than a bit of our run as an 11 seed back in '98-'99. They're playing a lot better ball and starting to come around and show off their talent. They're still pretty sloppy and prone to long periods of dead play, but they're playing good ball. Deserving of this run for sure, and could be a top half of the B10 team next year.
They are a "good" "bad" team. Iowa threw everything they had at them at the end of the game (except for making their shots ) and they still closed it out with ease. I have no idea how this was such a down year for them...the talent is thereOSU's end to their regular season and BTT tourney run reminds me more than a bit of our run as an 11 seed back in '98-'99. Exactly what I was thinking. It’s a bunch of freshman too just like the 99 Illini.
