3/8 Games

I can see how it looks similar, but it's not really IMO. Their RPI is higher, SOS higher, no bad losses vs. our 1, 1 great win against Louisville vs. our none. They went even in a better conference at 9-9, we were 8-10. I still think we can get in obviously. Maybe even with 1 win if we get more help, but if it comes down to Wake or us. It's Wake without a doubt in my eyes.

Funny how folks see things differently. Their strength of schedule is better but we have 3 more top 100 wins with the same amount of losses.

The only thing we have on them is that though. That's not going to be what puts us in over them. I want us in over them as much as the next guy, but that's just not the case right now imo.

Boy this really highlights the overall love for the ACC by those protecting brackets right now. Our resume actually looks slightly better yet most have us out of their projections.

How do you figure? They have better RPI, better SOS, same record against top 50 (but their wins were against higher ranked teams, and their losses were against higher ranked teams), and they have 0 bad losses to our 1. The only thing we have going for us is our record against 51-100.

Their loss today isn't on there. And our game tomorrow isn't either.

Mizzou beats Auburn on ridiculous comeback. No tourney I oli actions but never hurts to see Bruce Prarl go down at the buzzer.

I understand an accept yours and the others points. I was never stating that my view point was the correct one.

I think we can agree that we both want the same outcome of the beloved dancing.

I'd pick Wake over Illinois too, but Illinois isn't that far off.

Illinois has 3 more top 100 wins. Northwestern beat Wake Forest. Illinois beat Northwestern twice. One of the committee criteria is "head-to-head results and results versus common opponents." Illinois SOS/RPI/Road record aren't that far off when you consider the other bubble teams. Conference records aren't a factor. I think the resumes are pretty close, but Illinois is seen as barely on the bubble. We're in 9/132 on bracket matrix.

Bubble games. Bold are the teams we want to win.

Miami vs Syracuse 11AM ESPN MIA -1.5

Oregon St vs Califronia 4:30 PAC12 CAL -14.5

Wake Forest vs Virginia Tech 6:00 ESPN2 NO LINE YET

DePaul vs Xavier 8:30 FS1 XAV -10

Washington vs USC 10:30 PAC12 USC -11.5

2/5. Both Xavier and USC were losing at halftime. USC survives late run by Washington to hold on. Illinois is hoping for a little more drama tomorrow.
