I understand the sentiment regarding your post and have to say that thought has also crossed my mind this past season.........The uncoachable term maybe a little too much , as to my mind the term "" stubborn "" might fit this scenario best , at least to me...........If more info comes out about the halftime incident and benching for the second half of that game , then uncoachable might be more appropriate then.........
it's truly unfortunate the chain of events that has unfolded since Belo came to the Illini program..........A program undernourished in the area of point guards who could penetrate the paint and either score or get a dime with an eye opening pass...............
1st season
B1G
6th man of the year
all frosh 1st team
2nd season
concussion
covid 19
weeks without any BB related activities
transfer portal : committed to St. Johns
Such promise shown first year , then such disappointment this second season...............lots of expectations , coupled with a
somewhat immature personality ( JMHO ) has led to the parting of our relationship with Belo...........I really think this is the best outcome for both Belo and the Illini.................Clean the slate,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,fresh start..........................new backcourt of recruits and possible transfer's..............
To close , while I understand the "" uncoachable "" thoughts , I would need more info on that halftime incident.............I really really would like to know what happened and the level of anger with what was said or done............Asking for MYSELF..........................................
