This team can shoot with the best of them. We can win any game we play this season. Trent, Plummer, and Grandi are a deadly combination. On the inside, Kofi faced a perfect storm of tall, fast guys. He had a tough time getting going and probably had what will be his worst shooting percentage all season. All in all, a spectacularly fun game and a hell of an effort against a top 10 Arizona team. We're good and we're gonna get better. We'll be right there come the end of the season.
Pain. Hawkins absolutely killed us that game. Some mental lapses and lack of effort in spurts killed us as well. Arizona is a really good team.

Yeah. What was that about? Painful. he was getting no elevation on his jumper.
Kofi also hurt us some, he absolutely can’t miss 10 shots in a game where he takes 15.
This team will be good, especially if we get Belo back. I still have faith that it will be a great season.

Good game, terrible execution at critical times. This team should still be ranked in the top 25. Michigan and Wisconsin (AYFKM) are in no way better than us. We are what we are at this point though. A TO prone team who has to shoot lights out to have a chance. Too many scoreless stretches with guys just standing. I thought the tech on DMW was the turning point. Up a ton with major momentum, let them get back to within 4 at half. Really hurt.

You can't have these kinds of mental mistakes against a team the caliber of an Arizona. A shame as this was certainly a winnable game.
I don't know what Plummer was waiting for on the 5 second call. We have to smarten up and clean up the silly lapses or we'll get burned.
Beyond that. we got guys that can fill it up. We went toe-to-toe with the #11 team with only four guys scoring. I think we'll be fine.

Agreed. He’s played way too many games for that to happen. That’s an underclass mistake.
They are good. So are we. Now tear it up until Michigan and Purdue come to town and get Belo back in the fold. Hopefully Kofi sees this game tape and as a result finishes strong on his moves the rest of the year and takes his time on the catch. That was the difference. (And as a sign of how amazing he is, he still put up 13 and 13.)
