Via Twitter. Wasn’t a matter of if, was a matter of when. We’ll see what happens from here.

These kids are really getting creative with announcements!

what are we thinking the chances he comes back are? along with Kofi? Kofi is more likely yes but it's just so hard to predict right now

Everybody relax. He is maintaining his eligibility, just like Kofi. They are going to get feedback, then they will make their decisions.

A kid can be dead set on going pro, but when they get feedback, that typically can change their tune.
this^there is still a good chance both will be back. If not, we have a great class and brad will have a plan. Best of luck to both, have a feeling we haven't seen the last of them.

That, like Kofi, wasn't a message of we'll see what I can do. That was, I'm 100% in. Best of luck to Ayo, will be a lifelong fan, but time for BU and Co to keep the train moving forward.

agreed, with miller and Andre coming in it is in good hands. This is going to b a tough choice for both of our guys. Can go either way.

Reality has a way of changing things. If he hears he won't be drafted. They will make the smart decision and come back.

Keep in mind though that even though he seems 100% set on playing pro next season, his isn't very high on any draft boards. My gut tells me he returns, along with Kofi.

I think Kofi comes back but Ayo is gone. Good for him, hope he does U of I proud. Brad will reload, that’s what good programs do.

He may make me eat my words. I watched his video announcing the decision and he seems pretty dead set on going to the NBA..
What's the date they have to withdraw by?
June 3rd. More important dates are on the home page.

Exactly. It's more likely that Kofi returns, based on input, but both could be back. Ayo still seems to be in that middling range where it's too close to call at this point. With Kofi, anything's possible, but a return seems more probable. In a year he could be a lottery pick.

He is an enigma to me in terms of draft potential. Has some SGA possibility to his game but also must show 3 point range. Could be told late first, early second, or completely out of draft.

Even pre-lockdown, many entrants like Ayo were going to have the widest possible range of outcomes I've seen in a draft. Now it's completely upside down.

Ayo may get drafted in the 2nd rd but the guaranteed money is only the 1st 5 picks tough decision if he is rated in the 40s or 50s i wish him the best either way
