Basketball Transfer Thread

That is one of the oddest transfers. He's only going to have 3 seasons of eligibility. Imagine if he tore an acl sometime in the next couple of years, he would only have 2 years of playing time out of 5.

I remember watching several HS games. Never impressed me as being very bright on the court or off. Cocky lil guy as well. Winning a sectional you would have thought they won the O Brien trophy. Never impressed me with ball skills, shooting or BBIQ. Defensive toughness and skills though. Perfect Painter recruit. Made Chris Kramer seem humble

Drexel freshman Terrell Allen will transfer, source told @CBSSports. Three years of eligibility remaining. Averaged 9.8 PPG.

Should we offer him? We have a pretty good history of treating injured players.

It might not settle our nerves at the pg position relying on a true freshman, a twice injured Abrams, a once retired Michigan transfer with bad hips, and Tate awaiting trial. It probably wouldn't happen, but I'd still take him in a heartbeat. It would be nice to have some possible depth, and he wouldn't receive heavy minutes which might be in his best interest due to his health.

I had heard several months ago that Spike was going to use the transfer option for his 5th year. That is why he "retired" so he wouldn't burn his eligibility for a month.

What's going on over there?

Not sure, but 3 losses from what was a damn good 2015 class on paper has to sting. Might not affect them much next year but I'm sure it will hurt in a couple of years. It's the Creaning Week for sure.

It's too bad Mickey Mitchell stopped growing at like 14 because his freshman year HS highlights are something else. I'd still take him based on those, he did seem to come around a bit towards the end of the season.

Biefeldt to Indiana, Spike to Illinois? Wouldn't mind having someone of his skill set to provide depth but don't want Spike himself, too many of these in conference transfers and it's going to start feeling like pro ball.

I'd take him. He seems to shoot the ball very well at Assembly Hall.

The idea of Spike dropping 3's in OUR uniform has me drooling... Gotta express interest. Doubt it will be reciprocated, but man you gotta try.

Mickey Mitchell committed to Ohio State, then decommitted, then signed with OSU, then was almost ineligible, and now transfers after 1 year.

Still think there’s a pretty good chance the exodus isn’t complete, but we’ll see. The recent offer to Andre Wesson makes a lot of sense now

Just spoke with Spike Albrecht. He says Michigan did not release him to transfer to Big Ten schools. Says he's not upset. Story coming.
