That is a little deceiving. If you look at current rankings, Ohio State beat #6 Wisconsin, #9 Penn State, and #16 Michigan State. They lost to #2 Oklahoma and had that awful game against unranked Iowa.

Alabama's best win was against #17 LSU. They lost to #7 Auburn.

Wisconsin had a better resume than Alabama. Big Ten champ should have been in, not an SEC also ran.

I am a petty individual who loathes to see our peers succeed.

Wisconsin, a program that did absolutely nothing for about a century, wins a vulgar amount of games again, the last of which is against The U in their own stadium.

A ho-hum-twiddle-your-thumbs season for Iowa football includes a bowl victory and a prime-time thrashing of a top ten team at home.

Purdue makes a bowl and wins a shootout in Mid-Major Coach's Year One.

As for Northwestern, this tweet says it all.

Every bit of success these teams have is a bit of success we don't, so I don't relish it at all.

I think that the seeing Big Ten doing so well against various other conferences shows how far behind Illinois football has become and how difficult it will be to catch up.

Terrible series for scUM. Peters (q.b) throws a pick in the end zone. The play call on 2 and goal from the 6 was dumb - straight run up the middle that gained zilch. In addition to dumb play calls and bad plays by the QB, the crowd isn’t much. See we’re not alone.

Wow. They suck. Their qb slides 1 yard short of the first down and throws a pick. He’s an idiot. Play calling very questionable. Harbaugh better win next year or they’ll run him out of town.

Was rooting for the B1G to go undefeated, but it was enjoyable to watch Michigan blow it.

Also, it's just so wrong to watch the SEC vs Big 12 in the Rose Bowl.

Watching this Rose Bowl, I would hire somebody who can bring this Oklahoma playbook with them. This is fun to watch

It would please me greatly if both SEC teams get blown out tonight (which I think, at this point, is very possible).

Unfortunately (IMO) they will. I believe they have a strong QB coming in. O'Korn/Speight/whoever else were all abysmal this year. With more strength at that position I'd expect them to be in the top 10 given the rest of the talent they have.

Peters was awful today. Not sure if that was his norm but he might want to consider finishing his degree and starting the transfer process.

With Shea Patterson coming in, Michigan is going to be a really tough team. Harbaugh has not had a good QB in Michigan yet.

ESPN is apparently doing the megacast for these two playoff games and the title game. They have Command Center on ESPN2 which is the split screen with multiple camera angles. ESPNEWS has the Coaches' Film Room which has 6 different current and former coaches breaking down the game as it happens (This is the one I normally like to watch as you get a lot of good X's and O's breakdown of what's happening in the game). The SEC Network has the Finebaum Film Room which is Paul Finebaum and their analysts doing the similar stuff to the Coaches' Film Room.

I am also a Michigan fan with Illinois taking priority. My goodness, how hard is it for UM to get a good qb on campus? They haven't had a good one since Henne. I hope Shea can be the one, but they will also need to shake up the offensive coaching, because they have terrible execution that side of the ball. Very embarrassing loss.

I have a terrible feeling that we're going to get an SEC conference matchup for our championship game.

committee, why

If this happens, there will be about five people watching outside of Georgia and Alabama. Will lose all of the casual fans.
