And if I'm the coach, I would tell said player that if you don't want to be here, then don't the door hit you where the good Lord split ya....
See I think you let them play unless you really don't want them on your roster. It is a prime chance re-recruit kids and also who care unless it's a NYE6/CFP the bowl games are just glorified exhibition games with a chance to evaluate next year's with everyone sitting out.

I think as long as they make the effort and practices they should play.

Does anyone know why our APR is always so low? We’ve not been considered for a bowl game in 2 of the last 3 years when we ended 5-7. It seems our staff and Athletic Department should be laser-focused on ensuring our APR improves because with our future schedules, we could be looking at some more 5-7s.

Watching this Minny game, the one announcer has spent more time talking about the fiancée of Minny's QB than he's talked about the game this half.

not approached. Delaney and company felt Rutgers was a better fit.
While larger than Northwestern, Syracuse is a private school, which makes things more difficult when it comes to bigtime funding. They have a strong athletic history and a significant following in their area, but that area happens to be Central New York. Travel in and out can be very tough in winter. Rutgers is about an hour from both NYC and Philly. Syracuse is four hours from NYC, but 90 minutes from the Canadian border. If admission were based on athletic merit over the past several decades, SU would easily beat out RU, but, as we know, the decision was based on economic and media market considerations.

A decent number of these bowl games are almost unwatchable with the impact of the transfer portal. can they keep going on like this? I noticed that some of them on espn+ weren’t even running commercials. The Cotton Bowl used to be so huge back in the day, this OSU-Missouri game was a complete dog.

Mizzou beats O$U

Penn State getting thumped by Ole Miss.

Outside of Maryland taking it to Auburn, B1G not looking good vs SEC. Be better!

OSU’s regular-season team—sans transfer departures and draft holdouts—beats that Missouri team by double digits.

Almost every bowl game being played this season involves 2 teams who hardly resemble their regular-season appearance.
