yupAnother season win, another week of people so terrified of the thought of facing a good team in a bowl game that is completely meaningless to both our future and recruiting, that they'd almost rather us lose actually meaningful games to Rutgers and Northwestern to avoid that possibility. Truly remarkable stuff. Fans just so conditioned for failure they can't accept success due to all that comes with it.
It's both deeply sad and hilarious some people feel this way. Wait til they find out Bryant and Franklin on offense and Jacas and Coleman on defense won't be playing so they can protect their stock in a few weeks and talk ad nauseum about how their "selfishness" destroyed the team's future.
Can you imagine this argument in basketball? "If we're not a Top 3 seed, I hope we don't even make the tournament as we'll get embarrassed. Instead we'll compete in competitive NIT games." Just mind-blowing stuff
you play your absolute best against the teams on your schedule and the rest of tut post season will take care of itself .
I’m thrilled we got to two Rose Bowls and a Sugar Bowl during my adult life and wouldn’t trade those losses for wins in the Weed Eater bowl
