I mean, we lost to MSU during an otherwise strong stretch. We are capable of laying an egg. But hopefully we've exorcised those demons.
Oh yea. That was the game where 27 fouls on Kofi were not called along with at least one flagrant 1 wasn't called.

It's happened. The KenPom strength of schedule:

Interesting observation. The top 14 Kenpom SOS are all B1G teams. Oh - scUM is 14th, by the way.

I think we might have locked top 3 in the bracket (maybe Zags, us, Baylor, Michigan/Alabama, if we win; Zags, Baylor, us, OSU/Alabama, if we lose), which means we will not play against Zags until Final

At least now hopefully we won't have any nervous nellies on here worrying about getting a #1 seed, which we had already locked up before the game.

Looks like Ohio is going in. Good for them, they impressed me way back in November. Surprised they only finished 5th in the MAC. And I would guess they would be around a 13 or 14 seed so no way we would play them again unless they pull a couple upsets.

Ohio wins the MAC, meaning Illinois' complete scheduled consisted of 23 B1G games, non conference games against tourney teams Baylor, Missouri, and Ohio, a borderline tourney team in Duke, the regular season MEAC champ (who had to forfeit their tournament due to COVID) and a team Illinois beat so bad they ended their season.

If you do a round robin with 14 teams, the SOS will be the inverse of their finishes. The difference in the top teams schedule and the last teams schedule is that the top team got to play the #14, while the #14 had to play the #1. So unfair!
