^ Expanding upon this, this is where our remaining games fall as of today ... TONS of opportunities to earn a really great seed if we have truly turned a corner during last night's game:
vs. #58 Nebraska (Quad 2)
at #24 Michigan State (Quad 1)
vs. #103 Michigan (Quad 3)
at #81 Maryland (Quad 2 ... becomes Quad 1 if they get to #75)
at #127 Penn State (Quad 2)
vs. #60 Iowa (Quad 2)
vs. #94 Minnesota (Quad 3)
at #11 Wisconsin (Quad 1)
vs. #2 Purdue (Quad 1)
at #60 Iowa (Quad 1)
So anywhere from 4-5 Quad 1 opportunities remaining and anywhere from 3-4 Quad 2 opportunities remaining. Our resume will truly be made during these next 10 games. People have been talking about our lack of Quad 1 wins, but (ignoring any movements in the rankings, which are bound to happen), say we only lose at MSU and at Wisconsin, for example. Our resume before the BTT looks like this all of a sudden:
Quad 1: 5-6
Quad 2: 7-0
Quad 3: 7-1
Quad 4: 5-0
That will stack up quite nicely against the field, if you ask me...
