If Jacas comes back, someone needs to show him tape of the OSU DEs this game. Just so composed reading the play, great awareness, and not overcommitting and allowing themselves to still make the sack after giving the QB nothing. Jacas probably gets an extra sack/TFL per game if he does that and plays a bunch of snaps on Sundays

It's odd that for all the !!!! Indiana got yesterday.... that game looks to end the closest of all four first round games.
Yeah, if we're playing the media meathead game here, OSU dominated a 2 loss SEC team, PSU destroyed the ACC team Clemson barely beat. Texas looked fine against them but didn't blow them out. If you're really analyzing things just based off of these game results, you'd have to argue that the SEC has looked underwhelming thus far and they probably didn't deserve a 4th team in

I thought the whole CFP expansion was to make sure no one was left out that stood a chance. That happens with 4, maybe with 8. It does not happen with 12. Maybe an upset, but eventually it's just too much to overcome if you want to advance past the opening round.
I think there will be years where #9 would have a chance. But I think limiting it to 8 definitely means that you have to earn it, as it is right now.

I wish we played Alabama in the bowl game. After all, we beat michigan, michigan beat OSU, OSU is throttling Tenn, and Tenn whooped up on Bama.

Simple math tells me we beat Alabama by 49.

Make that 56. Ohio St just scored again!
Sounds like you are getting your math lessons from this guy. :) (One of the craziest wrestling promos I’ve seen. I have no idea how everyone stayed in character.)

So does anybody have any guesses as to what the announcers will talk about for the last 11 minutes of this blowout?

When all is said and done, IU played the closest game of the CFP weekend (and even that game wasn't close).

Never thought I would say that given how dominated IU was last night.

For all the hype of this weekend, it ended up being a complete dud, with the FCS games being way more entertaining.

It's just amazing to me how these announcers leave the game in progress behind and talk about everything under the sun. The Sunday announcers do it all the time.

Not much to talk about when one team is completely outclassed. I don't blame them. They're also there to hype up other things broadcast by the same network umbrella.

Tends to happen when the game is a laugher. Hard to talk only the game when it is a 30 point beatdown.

I sent a text to my buddy after I saw TN warming up shirtless "Buckeyes by a thousand."
When teams do stuff like this it just sets up everything up for embarrassment. Just be comfy and wear long sleeves and focus on the game.

Not only that, but even if Indiana had been shut out the margin of victory would have been 27 points — less than the SMU loss and only 2 points worse than the TN loss. That’s the same TN that beat out the 3 SEC teams that are crying they should have gotten into playoffs.
