Tessitore used to be on the Dan Lebatard show when he was the MNF play by play guy. They’d always make him say “Baker Mayfield”, and Tess would really amp the name up.
He has a bit of Kevin Harlan energy to his announcing style, plus his experience in boxing and now WWE adds to some of his dramatic style.

I think Texas got away with one. The only thing I can think of is that the Texas player was deemed to not have the crown of his helmet down. But I have a tough time explaining that.
