Give IU the trophy now......gonna steam roll the DUCKS........
Not sure they’ll steamroll the Ducks but as a Ducks fan (side team lol) I’m afraid IU is going to win by a comfortable margin. Ducks have so much talent but they just have a knack for shooting themselves in the foot at the wrong time.

Changing QB mid game is not a good idea. Alabama getting desperate..

So we take AJ simpson or Mack as our QB for next year?
AJ is projected to be the third QB taken in the draft.

Hoosiers are really, really, really good.

Indiana didn’t just break through the Glass Ceiling. They vaporized it.

Truly remarkable where they have gotten so quickly. The Nebraska Cornhuskers were once a fearsome blue-blood power but they have been a laughing stock now for 25 years. They have tried everything to become a power again and absolutely nothing has worked. They remain stuck where they are.

But along comes Indiana and they do it in... ONE YEAR.

The rise of Indiana and the great second season of Illini football have been the stories of the year. Ohio-State-and-Michigan-Loving media along with SEC-Infatuated media wont acknowledge that... but the rise of Indiana and Illini in tandem together is real story in College ball. And then there’s Notre Dame which gets to watch another in-State program grab all the glory that They think They are entitled to.

The hot Illinois-Indiana rivalry just gets ramped up another level. (And if the Bears actually move to Indiana that will add even another layer to the States' energy).

Bama fans have to be kicking themselves that they missed out on the Cignetti Sweepstakes two years ago to IU and had to settle for DeBoer.

I’m actually proud of IN after that performance. It’s like Revenge of the Nerds. And the Alabama SEC broadcast crew just said AL didn’t respect IN because they hadn’t played anyone!

I remember everybody freaking out about how horrible Illinois must be for losing a Saturday night game to Indiana on their field. Sure they got blown out and you never want that to happen but watching Indiana do this to Alabama on a neutral field makes that game a bit more understandable.
We beat a solid SEC team in our bowl game. Bama was good but wasn’t a great team this year. The Oregon IU rematch will be interesting

Mendoza and Cignetti are both some interesting characters. Damn good at what they do, though.
Mendoza is a really, really good football player.

But when he’s a interviewed, he always strikes me as the future college graduate who thinks he will ace a job interview only by telling the interviewer exactly what the last book on interviewing said would be a good answer to the question.

As he prepares for the draft, if I’m his agent I’m hiring a consultant to help Mendoza just be more natural. Leading a NFL locker room and offense is hard to do, but I don’t think it’s done by reciting a bunch of canned lines.

The only way IU doesn’t win the title is if they beat themselves. If they play good there is no one gonna threaten them. Georgia maybe hangs within 10. That’s it. This is an extremely impressive showing to sit for a month and be this sharp.
I agree, but I wouldn't count out Oregon. They may be last year's Ohio State. I think it will be Indiana and Miami in the finals, but it wouldn't shock me if it's Oregon and Miami.

Could you imagine how insufferable Indiana fans would be if they own the only undefeated seasons in both basketball and football?!?!

However, I love that a non traditional power is doing well but also a bit jealous of them. So conflicted on this as I also want a Big Ten team to win the natty. Ah sports…

Don't count out Miami. Their defensive line is elite. I like that we clearly have the 4 best team teams in the country in the semifinals. I am assuming Georgia wins the night game tonight.

He seems a little odd in interviews sometimes. But that’s ok. Odd is OK. I missed today’s post game interview so don’t know what you specifically are referring to today.
