Gonzaga hasn't played a game within 10 points since December 2.

At this rate, though, they still might not.

I will say I like BYU's chances if they continue to shoot 75%.

This BYU-Gonzaga game reminds me of the Illini-UM game......

BYU is shooting 72 percent. The same from 3. 8/11.

Insane. Unimpressed with Gonzagas defense. I believe a good defense in the B1G could beat them.

Not impressed by Gonzaga. They would have about as many losses as we had if they played in the B1G.

Gonzaga being Gonzaga.

I just read that they have been to 24 consecutive WCC finals. That's just mind-boggling.

Did you know that either North Dakota St. or South Dakota St. have won the last 9 Summit League Championships? That streak is over today, although North Dakota State did overcome a 21 point deficit in the final 8 minutes. In the end, though, too much Oral. And too much Roberts.

Cleveland State: It is the Vikings' 3rd tournament appearance, their first since 2009.
Mount St. Mary's: It is the Mountaineers' 6th tournament appearance, their first since 2017.
Drexel: It is the Dragons' 5th tournament appearance overall, their first since 1996.
Oral Roberts: It is the Golden Eagles' 6th tournament appearance overall, their first since 2008.

Aside from the ACC (which started its early round games today), the other Power 5 conferences begin their conference tournaments tomorrow. Some of the mid and low-majors either start or continue tomorrow with the MAC and AAC beginning Thursday.

The Zags do not play D at the level of any of the high end teams. I bet the Zags are the first 1 seed out if they do not play better D. Their lack of serious competition will hurt them.

Not really impressed by that considering their competition. They have been a high major in a mid major conference for a long time just like Memphis. I would respect it more if it was Pac 12 or MWC.

There is only two teams in that league in recent years that have made the tourney with regularity and that is the Zags and the Gaels. I guess you can add BYU now since they are there. The rest of the schools are not relevant in basketball. Its rare that Gonzaga gets any competition. Last night was definitely rare.

Xavier and Providence are the two higher seeds knocked out of the Big East Tournament today. Xavier's OT loss to Butler was especially bad as one of the Xavier players fouled a Butler player with about 3.7 to go in OT, thinking that the Musketeers still had a foul to give. Butler ended up winning 70-69. DePaul knocked out Providence 70-62. Here's the schedule for tomorrow's Big East Tournament:

8) Georgetown vs. 1) Villanova
5) Seton Hall vs. 4) St. John's
10) Butler vs. 2) Creighton
11) DePaul vs. 3) UConn

Loyola (MD) continues their miracle run through the Patriot League tournament, winning at West Point over 4th seeded Army 67-63. The 9th seeded Greyhounds will play at 2nd seeded Colgate on Sunday for the Patriot League tournament championship. The Raiders blew out Bucknell tonight 105-75.
