Why do I feel like there is a questionable no call against the Bears every single game when it's close?

Atlanta survives as Bears have 4 chances from inside the Falcons 10 to score but can't put it in. Drops by Josh Bellamy and Jordan Howard didn't help. Falcons win 23-17.

The drops most certainly don't help. It would have, however, been nice to run plays from the 2. Refs missed a blatant hold on the out route by the cb on the receiver in the end zone on first down.

Kevin White is actually Mr. Glass from Unbreakable.

Vic Beasley, picked with the very next pick of the draft, had a sack and a TFL in today's game and has already appeared in one Pro Bowl.

It's not entirely White's fault, but he's going to go down as one of the worst busts in Bears history.

I was so stoked when they picked him too. Size/speed combo had potential star written all over him.

The team has yet to confirm it but there are multiple reports online that Bears WR Kevin White broke his collarbone in today's game. If this is confirmed, it is a season ending injury and more than likely the end to the former first round pick's time in Chicago.

Terrible. When your top 10 pick can't stay on the field for more than a game it makes it much tougher to rebuild.

Personally, I wouldn't mind losing 15 more close ones like that to secure the #1 pick. Don't really care if Fox stays or goes at the moment. But I do think it's important to keep the OC (if he's good) so Trubisky can master this playbook down to every little detail. Makes a huge difference compared to Cutler getting a new offense every year.

I can't imagine a new HC keeping an OC that he didn't hire. Unless, the OC has no aspirations for the position (bad blood) or the GM requests it (bad start to new relationship).

What has he done in recent history that makes you want him?
Not a heck of a lot recently but I think he has a good offensive mind and would be a good coach to guide Trubisky into the NFL. He and Pace were together in New Orleans, maybe they would work well together. I really don't think the Bears are going anywhere with Fox at the helm.

I didn't think the Bears would win today but I didn't think it would be this bad thus far.

If Glennon keeps this performance up, the calls for Trubisky will start to grow louder and louder.

Bucs up 26-0 at half.

If they decide to go with Trubisky, I don't bring him at all this game. I let Glennon wear this one. Have Trubisky have a week of practice and then start him next week vs. Pittsburgh.

I still wouldn't start him at all. This team isn't good and Trubisky won't change that on his own. Protect Trubisky and let Glennon tank us to another top 5 pick.

Oh I agree. In an ideal world, Trubisky is not your starter until Week 1 of the 2018 season at the earliest. Though I've said on here that the only way I would play him before then would be due to poor performance from Glennon. If Glennon keeps on the route that he's going now, there's gonna be a time where the rubber will meet the road in regards to whether Trubisky will start.
