Starting to wonder about Kyle Long. Seems like he's hurt all the time now, how dependable is he moving forward?
I know I'm really sipping the orange and blue koolaid but if the Bears can win these next two against the Packers and Lions at home, they are legitimately in the playoff picture. Or at least in a place where you can talk about playoffs.
Can someone explain why on the Bears first drive when they had a holding penalty on second down that instead of replaying second down it went to third down instead? Also Bears look really flat early.
That's the kind of game that gets a coach fired.
I actually was thinking about this at lunch. Wonder if he has good relations with any top OC?Fangio for HC
So who should the Bears be targeting at 3? I don't like the idea of a safety or corner that high. Give me Watson, Trubisky or Allen or trade down. I really hope they take a QB in the first three rounds.
I was thinking the same thing. The Bears just aren't good enough to play complete games or close things out. I look at three points during the game yesterday--first the fumbled snap and Detroit scoops and scores-the Bears were pretty much controlling the game and then that happens. Then in the second quarter, the Bears D is pretty much controlling things and they give up back to back 80-90 yard drives and Detroit is up 21-17 at half. Then third quarter the Bears offense does absolutely nothing, while the Bears D plays a pretty darned good second half. They still are missing pieces to win games.Rush for 222 yards, 7.4 a carry, and lose? Turnover margin was even. How is that even possible?
