hope not re Williams , but i’m not getting the warm fuzzy vibe yet .
New coach, new offense, new line. It's a lot of new for a young QB to adapt to. One of the themes emerging the last couple seasons is that teams may need to be a bit more patient with young QB's. All the guys drafted with Caleb have been kind of up and down. Also look at Mayfield, Darnold, Smith, Jones, etc... All guys who were drafted early and quit on early due to being on bad teams with sub-par coaching, and playing well now under different circumstances and with more reps.

Caleb has more pure QB talent than anyone who has worn the uniform, maybe ever... He has been pretty good when given the opportunity to go win a game in the 4th, even going back to last year. He'd have a better reputation for it if not for the WAS Hail Mary and the GB FG block, as both of those were preceded by clutch drives.

I'd love to see what he could do with a competent running attack. The young QB's who excel typically have that. The Bears' running attack still feels more like a running capitulation...

The next time Swift is not brought down by first contact will be the first time.

Commanders to be without Terry McLaurin and Noah Brown and potentially Deebo Samuel for Monday's game. McLaurin and Brown have both been ruled out and Dan Quinn said they would take it into Monday before determining if Deebo plays.

Johnson does seem to have the bears trending in the right direction and they play hard, but they are not a good football team right now. Too many self inflicted wounds you just can’t have in the NFL where most games are within a touchdown or less.

Can't remember which radio personality I heard say it but they summed it up perfectly. When you look at the current Bears roster, there's only 5 players that will still be there when this team gets good.
