Wasn't Ivan Demidov supposed to be stuck to an ironclad contract in Russia for 3 years? What happened there?
Things have a way of working out when people want them to...Wasn't Ivan Demidov supposed to be stuck to an ironclad contract in Russia for 3 years? What happened there?
There is a lot to like going forward. The last 2 games gave a glimpse of what may be on the horizon. If the kids continue to get better, adding a few key pieces could really jumpstart them next year. Given that it will be the 100th anniversary of the organization, I wouldn't be surprised to see them try to make some things happen.
It's tough with so much youth at the back end, but I think Kyle Davidson needs to be pretty aggressive about getting better this offseason. The evidence seems pretty strong to me that "patient long-form rebuild" runs into problems in hockey more so than other sports.Hawks aren't going to be good next season
Rinzel is who I hoped Korchinski would become. That kid is going to be fun to watch!Frank Nazar. Sam Rinzel

Just sayin. Rinzel is 20 also. Not down on Korchinski in general but he hasn’t made as big of a jump as I had hoped this year.Korch is 20. plenty of time to improve. Rinzel is a unicorn. and he's only gonna get better
Lardis on his injury:Have any of you heard how bad Landis got hurt in his playoff game
The Admirals were once owned by Lloyd Pettit, former Blackhawks announcer and the greatest off all time IMO. "There's a shot ... AND A GOAL!"Ice Hogs beat the Wolves 5-0 and advance to play the Milwaukee Admirals
Looks like Carle withdrew his name from consideration. Rangers will be hot on Sullivan.Mike Sullivan, please!
Hell Yeah! The Admirals were once owned by Lloyd Pettit, former Blackhawks announcer and the greatest off all time IMO. "There's a shot ... AND A GOAL!"
As a high school kid I had the honor of meeting him at a Stanley Cup Finals game between the Blues and Bruins in 68 or 69 in St. Louis. What a thrill!
I think he did Cubs game also, intermittently. The Admirals were once owned by Lloyd Pettit, former Blackhawks announcer and the greatest off all time IMO. "There's a shot ... AND A GOAL!"

Yes, he was Jack Brickhouse's sidekick and host of "Leadoff Man" before Cubs games, I think.I think he did Cubs game also, intermittently.
