Wasn't Ivan Demidov supposed to be stuck to an ironclad contract in Russia for 3 years? What happened there?

Things have a way of working out when people want them to...

Bedard should spend the offseason with Nazar, working on his skating

btw, Nazar and Rinzel: looking great

Hawks aren't going to be good next season, but watching the kids get better is going to be must see tv

The last 2 games gave a glimpse of what may be on the horizon. If the kids continue to get better, adding a few key pieces could really jumpstart them next year. Given that it will be the 100th anniversary of the organization, I wouldn't be surprised to see them try to make some things happen.

There is a lot to like going forward.

Rinzel is who I hoped Korchinski would become. That kid is going to be fun to watch!

Korch is 20. plenty of time to improve. Rinzel is a unicorn. and he's only gonna get better

Just sayin. Rinzel is 20 also. Not down on Korchinski in general but he hasn’t made as big of a jump as I had hoped this year.

Have any of you heard how bad Landis got hurt in his playoff game
Lardis on his injury:

“There’s no long-term effects that will come from this injury,” Lardis said. “There’s no surgery involved or anything. It’s just more of resting it for a little bit, like a week or two, then starting the rehabbing as well. I should be good, hopefully, in a couple weeks here, or a little longer. I’ll have the whole summer here to kind of train and be 100 percent, ready for next year, which is really good.”

And:

“It sucks what it is, but I’m really thankful it’s not anything really bad and I can be 100 percent ready going into next year and have the whole summer to train,” Lardis said.

Ice Hogs beat the Wolves 5-0 and advance to play the Milwaukee Admirals
The Admirals were once owned by Lloyd Pettit, former Blackhawks announcer and the greatest off all time IMO. "There's a shot ... AND A GOAL!"

As a high school kid I had the honor of meeting him at a Stanley Cup Finals game between the Blues and Bruins in 68 or 69 in St. Louis. What a thrill!
