Officially Gio Gonzalez.

Game 5 tonight!

Don't know what to expect tonight. I realize that Strasburg, Gonzalez, and Scherzer are going to be tough but for one of the best offenses in the 2nd half to go so cold, part of me expects a breakout tonight.

Though that didn't happen for Cleveland so...

I love our chances. I have no money on it, as I am not a betting man, but I feel real good about this . If you would have told me last week that we would be 2-2 after facing Strasburg-Gonzalez-Sherzer-Strasburg, I would have taken it in a heartbeat.

plus, like the Indians, Dusty always finds a way to lose a playoff series

Truly the Cubs secret weapon tonight.

Game 5:
1. Jay, LF
2. Bryant, 3B
3. Rizzo, 1B
4. Contreras, C
5. Almora, CF
6. Russell, SS
7, Heyward, RF
8. Baez, 2B
9. Hendricks, P

This is likely the Cubs' best defensive lineup, give or take Contreras versus Avila at catcher. Bring it home for a NLCS rematch!

...like the Indians...

Even more so than last year, the Indians' loss this year was an epic choke job.

Last year was as much the Cubs playing better and all the pitching injuries catching up to the Indians. This year... I think Francona is one of maybe three managers (Maddon, Bochy) who wouldn't lose his job over starting Bauer on short rest. I don't know if he panicked or out thought himself or what. But Bauer on short rest when you have Tomlin, Salazar and Clevenger ready to go was bizarre.

Francona continuing to go with Bauer and Kluber on short rest this year after it didn't work last year is indeed head scratching stuff

Normally I scoff when announcers say "remember that play", especially in the first inning, but that was a huge play to get Turner.
