I don't listen often enough to know about his style, but I always think his ex-player insights are excellent. I also like his bar.

They are a couple of games out of the last wildcard spot.

My son wanted the family text group (Go Cubs Go) to see the perfect, amazing PCA throw. I started watching the highlights and had to watch a whole bunch of awesomeness before ever getting to the throw. The final play was also awesome! Shota was also awesome once again.

One of my favorite things about being a baseball fan within a community of baseball fans is the yearly occurrence of the hilarious paradox of it being such a statistically-oriented sport, while rash & firm conclusions toward the quality of a team are made 8 games in of a 162 game season.

The bullpen might be trash, or it could be April 2nd.

Justin Tucker has far more problems to worry about than shifting gears to a MLB career.

That said, Kyle Tucker will certainly break the single season HR record.

Some years the Cubs reel me in by stacking wins against weak opponents, but this year's opponents have a 22-9 record (I know aided by la) and a 16-5 record outside of the Cub games. So far so good.

Fortunately, I think the long term answer is already on the roster. Porter Hodge is going to be real good for a while.
