Seriously???? IF White Sox hang on, the Magic Number is down to 4 with 8 games to go. And if they don't it's still 5.

That being said...
Carlos Santana is 0 for 18 with Cubs.
Porter Hodge. Not good.
Worried about Shota and Boyd.

Update: Sox win! Sox win! M.N. is 4.

Hodge is horrible. He hopefully won’t be pitching in the playoffs.

I knew Santana wasn’t doing well, but didn’t realize 0 for 18. Wonder if he is replaced on playoff roster by Billy Hamilton.

The only thing positive about the current losing streak is that Cincinnati is only a game behind the Mets for the last wildcard. If the Cubs can beat the Mets in the next series, it may knock them out of the playoffs. Revenge for 1969 and Ron S.

embarrassing 4 game sweep in Cincinnati. not looking good down the stretch heading into the playoffs

Suzuki with one homer and ten RBI’s since August 1, only 8 hits in September. PCA has two homers and 12 RBI’s in same span, he’s 27 out of 154 since then. Tucker 5 homers and 21 RBI’s since July 1. Kind of incredible how their seasons have fallen apart. Tucker’s status is pretty vague.
