Yep, I know how old he is. I’m sure they’ll move him up a level soon and we’ll see how he does. But he has talent. And nothing wrong with celebrating an ,860 slugging percentage. He’s 24 years old

Tops in the NL Central for run differential, too (+30 going into today). The Cubs being 12-9 with all the pitching injuries and getting only one homer and ten RBI’s combined from Busch, PCA, and Suzuki is pretty amazing.

Another data point today. As Dansby goes, so goes the team... He is hitting .290 in wins and .100 in losses.
.300 for the last 7 days, though...
Yes, the second place Cubs!!!!Cubs win
The guy missed almost an entire spring training and the first few weeks of the season because of that idiotic WBC. He'll be fine.Another hapless AB for Suzuki as a PH, completely overmatched right now.

Maybe he rushed himself back...who knows?Maybe they should have given him a longer rehab stint instead of rushing him back.

Don't disagree, but at the time, that offense was an absolute disgrace. They got off to an absolutely awful start. Now that they're scoring, easy to look back and say they should have given him more time.Maybe they should have given him a longer rehab stint instead of rushing him back.
Every player looks bad when they’re slumping. But I’m not sure anyone looks worse when they’re slumping than Seiya does.
Yeah, that swing looked just awful. And then he just launches one onto Waveland his next time up.
Well that aged very poorly, very quickly, but you're right. When he's bad, it's bad, but when he gets hot......it's insanely hot. I suspect with the warmer weather, he'll heat up.Every player looks bad when they’re slumping. But I’m not sure anyone looks worse when they’re slumping than Seiya does.

Unfortunately, so will I.Well that aged very poorly, very quickly, but you're right. When he's bad, it's bad, but when he gets hot......it's insanely hot. I suspect with the warmer weather, he'll heat up.
Ummm... he's fast? That's all I got.Nice start of the season for Shota.
Re: Kingery, it’s one thing to have a backup infielder who can’t hit. What’s the purpose of a backup infielder who can’t play the infield?
