Honestly, there's not one guy in the pen that I trust outside of Palencia and he can't stay healthy.
The only hope the Cubs have is for Boyd to come back strong, where to can put Assad or Rea in the pen and maybe Steele, where you could put the other in the pen.
I agree with you on Thielbar. He was lights out, now he's an accident waiting to happen. Maton has been a flat out disappointment. Pretty sure Counsell was leaning on those two to set up Palencia in high leverage situations late in games.
Nothing has gone right, outside of Brown, with that staff. I guess we can say Assad has given them a nice run lately.
