Bruce Levine is right about as much as a weatherman. Cabrera is scheduled to start Sunday.
I saw that earlier. Guess I wasn’t wrong.Bruce Levine is right about as much as a weatherman. Cabrera is scheduled to start Sunday.
That is the kind of starts we need from him to justify trading Rojas. I liked what he said postgame about being a Cub and how welcoming the team has been.Great bounceback start from Holmes. 1 hit in 6 2/3.
Jacob Webb has been a godsend.
I was at the Portland - Binghampton AA game yesterday, and Rojas did not play. I was hoping to see what he had. That is the kind of starts we need from him to justify trading Rojas. I liked what he said postgame about being a Cub and how welcoming the team has been.
I don’t think he’s a superstar in waiting, but he has a very high floor IMO based on his hit tool. Cubs were very aggressive promoting him up until heading back to AA this year. Still just turned 21 this year. I think he will be a very productive hitter for quite a few years. And if he can continue to up his power, his bat will play even better at 3B. I think it is likely there or 2B he ends up. I’m thinking a Nico Hoerner with a bit more power but a bit less SB.I was at the Portland - Binghampton AA game yesterday, and Rojas did not play. Unfortunately, some of that was with the Cubs.Suck it. Go Cubs!
Yes. I'm one of those bitter-jaded-but-glad-he's-gone types when it comes to sports.Unfortunately, some of that was with the Cubs.
