Unfortunately, Murakami is falling prey to being a big, strong guy who can really move and that's.....the dreaded pulled hamstring. Chicago baseball has seen our share of that over the years. Soler, Robert, Jimenez, Suzuki(before he got leaner), etc. What worries me, for him, is that the weather was absolutely perfect. It didn't take much to get lathered up. To pull a muscle sprinting to first base.....it's a movie we've seen before. They're saying a couple of weeks. We'll see.

I went to the Cubs/Sox game and had tickets 12 rows off the field. He is a shockingly big guy....like, blocking TE in the NFL big.

Well the “good news” is we get to see what Sox have in Jacob Gonzalez. Not considered one of their top prospects at the start of the season (think he was ranked in mid 20s) and really a bit of a disappointing first round pick, he has really turned it on so far this year and tapped into his power potential. Was playing primarily SS this year, but he has also played a big at 1B and 2B.
