Lol anyone that didn't want to play BYU simply was looking kenpom and never had seen them play.
They were so incredibly soft. Domask and Shannon would have absolutely obliterated them. Dain would have also cooked their bigs that were terrible.
Honestly, we got lucky they switched BYU and Gonzaga. Gonzaga was just a flat out better team than BYU.
Plus I think this is the strongest the SEC has been in a really long time with UKs historical advantages (cheating) getting diluted by everyone having NIL.
They were very good, but what was the deal with Sheppard and Dillingham coming off the bench? The TWO BEST players on the team not stating. I know it’s not who starts, and it’s who ends the game, but it still gave me Devon Booker vibes, which I will never be able to comprehend what Cal was thinking.

If I’m the Nets, I push a blank check across the table. His offensive sets would be tailor made for the NBA. His demeanor would be the big issue, but Brooklyn has to at least try.

This Mark Pope hire could not have been any better for Illinois. Brad Underwood isn’t going anywhere.

The elite 5 star level kids are not going to be lining up to play for Mark Pope … It’s just not gonna happen … Recruiting is going to have to change …
UK doesn’t want to be a development program but that’s what they just signed up for …
With Golden … Recruiting wouldn’t have slipped much at all …

In the NBA, Billy is great coach for young, developing players…but otherwise he’s pretty dang mediocre IMO

I’ve also been told one of our assistants has been requested for an associate HC interview … I will not disclose who or where …
But we could POTENTIALLY have an opening … Not a done deal … We’ll see if he takes the interview …
