Man, this is disappointing, why would Chester go to a worse program for seemingly the same role while being a loved Illinois alum that was making a good amount of money. He was arguably our best assistant too. Surely, unless we magically bring OA to somehow pry Boynton from Michigan, we're going to downgrade.

Convince Dennis Gates to be our assistant instead of Mizzou's head coach. That would make my year.

I have no insider knowledge or any of that but it always seemed to be that TA is clearly our best recruiter but that's it. But, Chester was a good recruiter but also a great Xs and Os guy which is why I thought he was our best assistant.
As long as we keep our Chicago connections strong, we’ll be just fine. The players CF brought in were mid anyways.
We need a guy like Gentry on the staff.
