I always enjoy Indy's broader and deep perspective on the coaching market, and his willingness to not just share nuggets of inside info but his opinions with us. He definitely has his faves. And of course part of the fun around here is wondering who the heck our insiders are IRL.
To those points, I can't help but notice the somewhat unique for college basketball demographic characteristic that Indy faves Josh Schertz, Todd Golden and Adam Cohen all have in common...
Not the same at all. In his post he mentions the demographic being more unique. Many people hang out with people most like them, so I think he was saying it could be a clue. The context of his post was figuring out who Indy is.
I don't know what he was saying anymore than anyone else. I just didn't instantly jump to the most negative conclusion.

I don't think there is any debate what demographic he meant. However, there are different interpretations of what he meant by it.

Idk who said it but I’d gladly take a 5-star any day. Stephon Castle was a top 10 recruit and made a significant impact on the title run this year for UConn.

Well….. that would be a nuanced response that probably wouldn’t help at all.
But, here goes.
Baseline: I am ALMOST unoffendable. Therefore, I do not go around looking for ways to be offended. Nor, do I tie my families heritage to my offended feelings in order to validate them in an attempt to shame punishment into existence.
I am not saying that you did this @illini0440.
I enjoy you and @Indy Illini Fan @DB11Headband @LvilleILL. Makes the slow months interesting.
Issue: with that as the baseline, my initial thought did not go towards they are all white, maybe Jewish (?), in the Illuminati or MAGA or a part of the “Squad”.
In fact my first thought was maybe they were all assistants or in the coaching tree of Sean Miller. Which I was wrong about.
It was easy FOR ME not to go in some offended direction because I have seen Indy be fair to everyone both with his criticism and his praise regardless of race, sexual orientation blah blah blah whatever is supposed to be said.
Things something I would assume a long time poster like @ChiefGritty would know as well.
Conclusion: I am only offended by people who do not share my thoughts on food, sandwiches and burritos specifically as well as who the greatest Illini of all time is…… which is Frank Williams.
Now I’m getting canceled.
Don’t have a clue and I am going to sit here and be unoffended by what the group thinks I should be offended about.
