He has already offered a kid a scholarship to WV... The kids leaving are the kids he recruited here. I wouldn't be surprised if WV calls them....

Used to be a gentleman's agreement that if you switched jobs you would not take kids from your old school to your new one. Obviously that rule is out the window. Now when people switch coaching jobs its rape and pillage old school. Not sure I agree with that, as I believe you have a professional and ethical responsibility to past and present employers. Would the new employer want you to steal employees if you moved on. Its a new world we live in. Call me a dinosaur / curmedgeon.

It wasn’t because they didn’t want to. Old days you sat a year if u transferred and if u signed the school had to agree to let u out. If the person u liked left they re open things


One unspoken rule back in the day
IDKWTI was recruited by IU after signing with us. I believe IU reached out first

Unfortunately "gentleman's agreements" (aka honor & integrity) are passe these days.

We now live in an instant gratification, smash & grab mentality and that is reinforced in many areas of our society, not just college hoops.

But I digress 😒

I mean there's like a 50% chance that any given player is going to transfer these days anyway, regardless of coaching changes

Their daughter was also attending UK at the time ... There was another reason as well that I will not get into ...

If it was only up to O ... I think he'd be back ... The key is convincing Dana to come back ...

Because I can tell everyone here with 100% certainty that $$ is not an issue and Brad wants O back and O knows how valued he is here ... O LOVED it here ...
