Cognitive dissonance at its finest.
I don’ think so. Cognitive dissonance suggests mental discomfort over opposing ideas. It is possible to objectively recognize and consider the different aspects of and feelings about this situation and to not feel greatly conflicted. Hopefully this Chester/Orlando situation is not arousing such major psychological stress in anyone. Picky psychologist policing loose terminology usage here. 😉

I would be the first one to fire Chester to hire a coach like Antigua. If that clears it up for you
Would you fire Hamer to hire a coach like Boynton? Though I doubt the athletic department could afford that asst coaching staff.

What about firing Hamer for a guy like Yaklich who seems to be a great defensive coach but not the most important recruiter?
Assistants Hierarchy in terms of stature= OA, TA, Geoff/Tyler, Hamer

Hamer is on staff because somebody has to be Assistant #5 and you're not getting a high level guy to be that

Yaklich is a guy who could be Assistant #2-3 in terms of importance; he'd be someone to consider if someone like Geoff leaves

I am. Good bye and good luck. Hope you get a chance to coach against the beloved some day soon, least before our former players move on or graduate. Chester reminds me of Bruce, and reminds me of the huge fall after 05

And Chet was quickly hired as the Associate Head Coach of a promising project at a good major conference program and “his” players have immediately been eager to follow him there.

He was, is, and will continue to be a valuable asset in college basketball. As will Orlando Antigua.

We really don’t have to be petty homers about BU and CF not seeing eye to eye.

Brad kept calling him Chet and he didn't like it, didn't he?

Was there a limit on the number of announcements? The Chester tweets are getting tiresome.

Won't air the dirty laundry but Brad and Chester were on the outs for a decent while.
Towards the end of the season, I don’t remember which game, I do remember the camera catching Brad and Chester arguing vociferously on the bench during a game. It was more than a small game time adjustment/disagreement and was not a good look. It was very obv they were not on the same page...
