I don’ think so. Cognitive dissonance suggests mental discomfort over opposing ideas. It is possible to objectively recognize and consider the different aspects of and feelings about this situation and to not feel greatly conflicted. Hopefully this Chester/Orlando situation is not arousing such major psychological stress in anyone. Picky psychologist policing loose terminology usage here.

Towards the end of the season, I don’t remember which game, I do remember the camera catching Brad and Chester arguing vociferously on the bench during a game. It was more than a small game time adjustment/disagreement and was not a good look. It was very obv they were not on the same page...
Please explain to the rest of us who maybe don't know what the disconnect is with having Hamer on the staff..
Hamer was apparently the team's "Defensive Coordinator", and he was blamed by many here for the porous defense from about February on.
Fans across all teams and sports seem to be desperate to find somebody to blame, and even better if it's not a player.
And then the defense got great and he got no credit by the same.
