"NIL" is an apt description for what Seton Hall has in that department. It’s just a tough place. Pro arena 20 minutes from campus even if traffic is clear. Been foiled trying to get a decent on-campus practice facility. School leadership dealing with persistent questions about hiring a president who seemed to be aware of misconduct that rocked the diocese a few years back. You really need a strong coach who can get non-elite players to play above their heads against top competition night after night (as opposed to the emotional wave of a tournament run). Sha’s a great story, but probably not the guy.Huss to Butler would be such a great fit, would love to see that happen.
You could be right on Rutgers, I’d still be surprised on Seton Hall given Sha was a former player and how Pitino called them out for their NIL. Even with the lack of resources though, still not ideal to be trending downward like that
