Huss to Butler would be such a great fit, would love to see that happen.

You could be right on Rutgers, I’d still be surprised on Seton Hall given Sha was a former player and how Pitino called them out for their NIL. Even with the lack of resources though, still not ideal to be trending downward like that
"NIL" is an apt description for what Seton Hall has in that department. It’s just a tough place. Pro arena 20 minutes from campus even if traffic is clear. Been foiled trying to get a decent on-campus practice facility. School leadership dealing with persistent questions about hiring a president who seemed to be aware of misconduct that rocked the diocese a few years back. You really need a strong coach who can get non-elite players to play above their heads against top competition night after night (as opposed to the emotional wave of a tournament run). Sha’s a great story, but probably not the guy.

Given the expectations at UNC, they have had negative ROI since the extension.

Texas would be the #1 job of all those openings. Great city, great facilities, big time $$ everywhere you need it. Decent success recently but not great. You can be The Guy there.

Oregon and Indiana would fit behind as well as Tenn and Miami.

Mich St is a great job but I wouldn't want to be the guy that follows Izzo.

The back channels must be scorching hot right now, and will melt steel pretty soon.

Will Wade is sitting in his office, feet up on his desk, ear to ear grin.

Nobody better than Sean ?

Chris Beard and Todd Golden say hello … I could even hear the argument for McDermott as well …
If EIU lets Simmons go...are there any concerns that Brad may be looking for another assistant???

Will Wade would KILL IT here … And honestly he will KILL IT anywhere …

I know paying players NIL is legal now but do you really want to hire people like Miller and Wade who had no problem doing it every season when it was illegal. Both were caught via FBI wire tap. SEC schools are used to pay for play. Not sure B10 can stomach it although we did just let USC join and we never did anything to Michigan during Harbaugh days so who knows what Indiana will decide. SEC has no problems with paying players nor does Miami.

I'm certain our current coach did it when it was prohibited. Just didn't get caught.

There wouldn't be many college coaches left in the game if everyone was caught.

Then the pool of potential coaches narrows significantly. It is naive to think that only Miller and Wade were doing it, and other big name coaches were clean. Miller and Wade simply got caught.

The reality is that you hire the coach that you think will be get you to the ultimate goal of a national title.

If Brad were to leave this offseason (and I do not want that to happen), I would not be angered to have Miller for the reason you stated. I think Miller would do fairly well here.

Please show some articles that prove that Brad was paying players. Both Miller and Wade were on FBI wiretaps and got fired.

Well…so was Bill Self. Do we just assume he was a saint the whole time he was here? Just Sayin….

Also, do you think it’s beyond the realm of possibility that Brad Underwood might have occasionally operated in the “grey area” (shall we say) himself pre-NIL?

I mean, I don’t wanna get all triagonal conspiracy theory on ya here…but I mean come on…you barely even have to connect any dots…who was the other school in that probe?

But it’s all ancient history now. It doesn’t matter anymore. Somebody like Beard…with that kind of baggage. That’s a different story. It’s too damn bad too…because I think he might be top 2 or 3 in college basketball right now.

Everything he did at LSU is completely legal now. He must be holding out for the right fit as I'm perplexed somebody hasn't hired him by now.
No it's not. People just don't do it anymore because NIL has made it obsolete, but if someone were to do it for some dumb reason they'd get hammered by the NCAA.

If you don't want to count it against him I completely understand, and I don't really care about it either, but what Wade did is not the same as NIL, and saying it is now legal is just false.

For the millionth time ... They found NO VIOLATIONS on Sean ...

Also - if you think no one in the Big Ten was paying players before NIL ... LOL :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

It's all really simple for Coach Underwood, don't lose another game the rest of the year. A statue will be erected and all the coaching change talk will stop for at least one season. To most he will be the Coach forever, if he can only win out or at least end on a six game winning streak. Even a blind nut finds a squirrel, sooner or later it has to be our turn. When you least expect it,,,,like this year. Been believing since the 1970s

did you forget the allegations when he was at OSU? You think Kofi fell in love with cornfields on his visit?
