Coached at Western Illinois with Thad Ward too, Chicago native, good catch.Frisman Jackson? Recently let go by the Steelers but a shared connection with Doeren
Great news!I personally like it.
Maybe, but right now, I ain't jolly. We'll see how this shakes out.Michigan won a championship and have even more coaches to replace. Tis the business
Funny how things change. When I played varsity basketball in high school, we each received two pairs of white high top Converse Chuck Taylor All Stars. One for practice, one for games. They were considered "tight" versus the black version that were becoming old school. Those are actually some tight kicks lol
Just realized. New pic.I personally like it.
Who?Stepp would be a nice recruiting bump.
Who?
Justin Stepp

Crossed paths with Barry Lunney at Arkansas under Chad Morris. Big time rep as a recruiter, one of the highest paid guys on the USC staff though they just moved him from WR to TE coach after hiring James Coley (another notorious rainmaker on the trail) in the WR role.
It would seem a bit surprising to yank him from that program on the upswing north of the Mason-Dixon line for the first time in his career.
A ton of money and he felt a bit sidelined by the move away from the WR role maybe? It's a credible hire, no question of that.
Hopefully he doesn't just use us as a Stepp-ing stone...Stepp would be a nice recruiting bump.
Tread lightly my friendHopefully he doesn't just use us as a Stepp-ing stone...
I'll see myself out.
The quickest way to turn around our recruiting fortunes in the Chicago area would be to hire Jordan Lynch. Too bad he doesn't fit our staff needs right now.
I'd chalk that up to Holgo being on the hot seat and generally unlikeableHouston’s 2024 commit list less than impressive as well.
