Never mind that he created100% of the "adversity that we had at Purdue."
Anyway, it appears that he indeed never changed and stayed consistent with who he was.
Samba Kane maybeThat Caca dude is lacking a lot of data RE Walters.
He should join loyalty, we can fill him in on the dirty details.
Speaking of Walters, is he going to take Kane with him?
Complete the sentence..."never wavered as a total ego maniac, and Mercedes driver"".... he never wavered or changed and stayed consistent with who he was."
That I can believe.
What you'll learn from message boards is unlikely to be helpful. That's how I grew convinced Bret was a drunken frat boy when we hired him. It wasn't good info, is my point. But Walters is persona-non-grata with Bret, now.I am also not aware of the strong dislike for Walters. I did read the article about Hudson Card. Any other insight? It seems like I'm missing quite a bit. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Well, this past year he let his team out from halftime to run through our band with the block I in formation. He knows that was 1000% disrespect. He has earned every bit of hate he gets.I am also not aware of the strong dislike for Walters. I did read the article about Hudson Card. Any other insight? It seems like I'm missing quite a bit. getting the foley out early decreases risk of infection (sorry, bad hospital medicine joke but couldnt help myself

That source either has to be Walters himself or his admin assistant at Purdue.
He’s already tried thatAfter the Schefter report this morning, I have some concerns that Bret will get SEC interviews (if Sarkesian leaves for NFL) as well as one very specific NFL team showing enough interest to warrant an interview for an open HC position. Why wouldn’t Bret parlay this sustained success at Illinois into an NFL HC job or a top tier SEC job?
Ya just never know. I think our staff should largely stay intactWhich of our Assistants is most likely to depart this off-season?
One might think they'd all "want" to stay with the strong likelihood of even more success in 2025. January 2026 would then be a good jumping off point for those with aspirations of bigger roles.
SEC jobs are overrated and aren't what it's cracked to be. High expectations = lower job security. Arkansas is a bottom feeder team (and this was even before Texas/Oklahoma joined - bottom 3 in SEC wins over 25 years) that Bret took to 3 straight bowl games and still fired him. After the Schefter report this morning, I have some concerns that Bret will get SEC interviews (if Sarkesian leaves for NFL) as well as one very specific NFL team showing enough interest to warrant an interview for an open HC position. I just don’t see it. Bielema would be a “leader of men” type of hire, and I don’t see a NFL team looking at him and saying “that’s my guy”. I also don’t see any way he wants to return to the SEC.After the Schefter report this morning, I have some concerns that Bret will get SEC interviews (if Sarkesian leaves for NFL) as well as one very specific NFL team showing enough interest to warrant an interview for an open HC position. Great observation! We’re seeing the SEC in decline relative to B1G in head-to-head performance on the field. Their already intense fan base will become even less patient with results that don’t match their increasingly unrealistic expectations.Yeah now that everyone is on the same page of paying players I don't see a big difference between SEC and B1G. I could see maybe going NFL route where the off-season grind is less intense and he could spend more time with his family while collecting a similar salary.
Let the John Holecek watch begin!Ya just never know. I think our staff should largely stay intact
