Only worry, Cal's main candidate is the DC at Wilcox's alma mater.
DC for Chryst at Wisconsin for a year. I’m sure he will go to the nfl or stay on the west coast. Regardless we should have a lot of proven coaches on the market
Cal's QB is a huge portal get in the making. Couldn't hurt bringing his HC but he's gonna be a big dollar recruit

I think I read that the buyout was $72 million for the entire coaching staff of they move on after next week (Norvell's alone at $58.8M). I am sure it can get reduced a bit given Norvell would have to look for immediate employment, but that is hefty money there (especially if you fire the current staff in entirety and new staff does not work out.
Add in what Mr. Tibb's mentioned above, I dont think it is too surprising that FSU is giving one more season.
