Idk. It doesn’t make sense for them to wait. I mean the coaching carousel is effectively over. If they knew they were gonna do it, why not just do it right after the season like everyone else? After signing day means nothing since all those kids are now free to sign with whoever they want due to a coaching change.

I mean, except that most teams have filled out their classes and are focusing on transfers. These rising freshmen are in an unenviable position.

Idk man…these are high end recruits. You’re telling me teams wouldn’t figure it out if they needed to? Or like…Penn State could throw a ton of cash their way because of what happened to their class.

I would think ND would a) pony up whatever to keep freeman and b) is objectively a better job than Michigan especially given the past couple years

There has to be a reason he got fired now. Tweets are popping up with people in the program knowing about this 1, even 2 weeks ago. To me, the program had to know well in advance and spare me “zero tolerance” when the things with Harbaugh were going on. Difference is Harbaugh was winning. Moore was never the answer, just a stop gap.

I’m expecting an announcement within a couple days.

Once again the stupidity is off the charts. You're making millions. There are plenty of women out there that will do the sheet dance with you if they think there's a chance to be the next Mrs Moore. As my former sales manager was always fond of saying "keep your p***r out of the payroll"

On a related note Biff Poggi is an awesome name for a FB coach. 10 year contract just on name alone. Or go get Jim Bob Cooter.

There were rumors about this in the middle of the season, like when they played Purdue.

As a resident of Oregon - go ahead and think we’re weirdos. That’ll keep small minded people away from here - and it’ll keep our beaches, hiking trails and ski slopes all the cleaner (Oregon ain’t got sh*t - gmafb). I ain’t got time for that kind of nonsense.

Also, Oregon football is not soft. Dan Lanning has built quite the program out here - largely built out of toughness and resiliency - and it only shows how little this a-h*le actually knows about the programs his team competes against. What a loser that guy is.

Photos have emerged. Can't be going to Coldplay concerts with your mistress while you are the face of a major college football team

unless they expand to 16 for 2027
everything gets redone then

and where is ND’s negotiating strength ?
Ok, but they'd essentially be guaranteed a berth every year in in that scenario.

There's a reason why they're able to negotiate their way into a top 12 guarantee no one else has...
