These seems to be postings for Kentucky, do they not? "Must adhere to UK, SEC and NCAA rules and regulations."
I guess I'm not seeing this as anything unless someone can decipher differently. It's a state institution, so technically, they have to post them right?

They're definitely UK postings. It doesn't really mean anything since UK has to post them either way in order to make a hire.

Timing seems a little suspect. Posted the day after rumor that KY is ahead again + a deadline of next Monday? Gives the impression they have their guy(s). Hope I'm wrong.

I thought the same thing. Could be posting now to meet some time requirement before they announce hires.

Why are we trying to read into a state school with 2 assistant coach openings having official postings for those openings? There's literally nothing to it. They have 2 openings. They have 2 postings. Whether those positions are actually filled or not have no bearing on the postings. Do you think Wisconsin is sifting through random applications that were sent in to their AD posting?

Because the original poster didn't actually read the postings and thought they were UI postings.
It is not news that UK posted these positions. The timing is probably later than they wanted because of the tragedy of the player’s death.
I’ll be mildly surprised if we lose both of them. I certainly want them to stay.
But if we do lose 1 or both, I’m very confident we have at least 1 really impressive assistant that would be hired.

Not true lol. I took the screenshot from UK's website. My thought was that the timing was potentially foreboding, but it could also mean nothing. Either way I figured that after 3 pages of dentist puns some people might be interested in, ya know, something actually related to the AC jobs?
Wait, there were three pages of dental puns? I must have just brushed right past all of those. I will say that it will be a big floss if we lose Chin or OA.

I feel like with most coaching openings at public universities, it's all just a formality and the timing, length of post, etc. has no bearing on the search, candidates, or hiring timing. It's just to check off that it was officially posted.
