Yep, but Payne’s numbers were about the same from frosh to soph. His Fg% went up but on fewer shots and his rebounding numbers went down — all the rest of his stats pretty close.
Just wondering what Payne’s relationship with him is like now.
Very true. I’m not saying Payne is against move or that his feelings would have any bearing on the hire. Just curious if he sees this as good or not.

Dont need Chicago ties to be a top priority. It’s a big big world out there. If all of Chicago’s best always wanted to come to Illinois I would get it. They don’t and won’t so we should look elsewhere. Love ayo but don’t use him as an example. Look at all the other Chicago greats. They didn’t go to Illinois. I think it came from the MacIrvinFire Twitter account. After the Loyola game they went off talking about how Nick would have won that game by 30. Don’t think it came from Nick himself.

so maybe it is true. we had a bad game and didnt make any adjustments. however, it is just one game. i think we are better off where we are now with BU. it is the assistant coaches im worried about.
Yeah, you're not really dealing with a brain trust there. I'm confident that there are significantly more qualified, and better coaches out there than anyone from that tree.
