Pretty sure there is only one 5-star talent in the MIF pipeline (JJ Taylor), and that 5-star may never see a college campus. Many are greatly overestimating the MIF pipeline. It could be Chin Coleman's ability to develop players that caught Calipari's eye. Because frankly Calipari needs help with both player development and recruitment.

Yeah looks like as good a candidate as any I've seen to fill the OA role with respect to recruiting.His recruiting seems good too. This 247 site is pretty stale at this point but this was his record at least at MN.

Whether or not he has another down year, you're not going to find too many other college situations with more stability at the top. This is a great move for Chin no matter how you slice it. I don't like it, but it is what it is.
Is it? Cal tried to get out of Kentucky after this season he just couldn’t quite figure out an escape route.
