What about a staff of Chester Frazier, Roger Powell, and Geoff Alexander? Move Augie into Alexander's position if he's serious about coaching. The first call Augie makes is to Kofi where he tells him he'll work with him everyday to make him a first round draft pick. Would love to see Brian Randle at least get a phone call to gauge his interest in coaching at his Alma Mater.

Correction. I not only can't count to 6, my years get messed up. Audie was 1974, and was probably a top 5 or top 10 recruit. With Harper, Douglas, and Winters, that would be 4 McD AA level recruits during Tony Yates's tenure. Levi Cobb, Eddie Johnson, Mark Smith, Derek Holcomb, James Griffin, Mike Jones, and Jay Daniels were maybe top 50 level?

What's the snag with Powell? Money? Title? Loves the Pacific Northwest? Are Randle and/or Augustine on Underwood's radar? I like Mennenga if he's what everyone is saying; but if Oregon wants to keep him, will Phil Knight pony up the money to keep him (I suspect he would)?
