Would be so nice to have an attractive enough program to easily lure the top people in the industry, both on the sidelines and on the court. Everything is like pulling teeth even after a strong 2-3 year run. Maybe someday things will be easy.....probably not.

We have come a long way baby. Remember the coaches we had before Whitman ? We had John Gross, Bill Cubit, Tim Beckman. Nobody wanted to come to Champaign. Now we are replacing very good assistant coaches Antigua and Chin with Chester Frazier and to be named. I like it a lot. Plus we are waiting on Kofi to decide on the NBA draft. If he returns we are serious contenders for the FInal Four. Like I said, we have come a long way Baby.

I guess I see this differently... BU has extended a total of 3 offers with 1 yes & 1 no & 1tbd.

This means that BU has said no, or not yet, to all the inquiries (hundreds?) that have come across his desk. BU strikes me as a guy that is very selective, deliberate, and content to allow things to play out.
