As multiple posts point out, we have Underwood. That provides stability, but the Storr loss seems big and hopefully is our only loss.

New connections of future AC hires are exciting, but the wildcards of "fit", "style" and whether they even have considered the Illini before are hurdles. And if we chase hires from lower profile programs would the recruits be of similar stature?

Lots of questions. Many more come to mind. It's time to lock someone in soon.

We "lost" Storr only because Chin left. The wait in getting someone had nothing to do with his decomit.

Also, you know, he started blowing up this spring so he would have been dumb to not decommit anyway.

First off, my apologies for the earlier snark. Turns out, indeed, much solid.

So currently in a Will Bailey rabbit hole. If all of this has been said... nothing wrong with a refresher, right? 😬

Bailey is from Chicago (check).
On the Huggins/Martin/Underwood coaching tree (solid plus).
Familiar with Champaign, as he was inducted into The Parkland College Hall of Fame in 2019 (interesting nugget that strikes a certain would-want-to-be-here tone).
