Too bad. Seems like he has a good basketball mind and people would be complimentary of him if he wasn’t trying to hog recognition.
Pretty simple actually. He played a summer with MIF and the guards, mostly Watson and Miller, literally never passed him the ball. Big reason he didn’t come here

Alan's dad is originally from Decatur. Not sure exactly when or where he was born but Decatur and KC are his homes. I went to HS with his father and was also friends of ones of Alan's assistant coaches at Decatur Christian. He would be an excellent fit at Illinois. Dare I say maybe the next HC...sadly I think he would bolt back to Creighton if and when McDerrmit(sp) is replaced.
